100 days until the first skiing competitions in Estonia: Here's an overview of the last season and most popular ski wax products!

After taking a look at the calendar, we realised that there's only about 100 days left until the beginning of this year's skiing competitions in Estonia. So we decided that it's the perfect time to make a summary of the last season.

Key takeaways from the last season

In order to give you an overview of the most popular and best ski waxes from last season, we relied on waxing tests at Estoloppet marathon series as well as other competitions. We also took into account the most popular products on our webshop, what worked for us in our personal experiences and what was popular in the crowds.

Last winter we had a lot of snow in Estonia, but the COVID-19 virus set different boundaries for all of us. It was definately a tough year for competitons organizers. Making these sport events happen was harder than ever before. For example, the last competition in Estoloppet marathon series, Haanja Marathon, was cancelled due to the pandemic situation. Overwall we can say that thanks to everyone's carefulness and attention towards the virus, most Estoloppet Marathon competitions did take place and winter was great!

Lets talk about ski waxes now!

Thanks to the good snow conditions during the first half of the season, we got to use a lot of solid kick waxes and glider waxes for cold weathers.

Tartu Marathon came together with spring

A day before the biggest event in Estonia - Tartu Marathon, the weather got really warm and sun was shining. During the most popular competition in Estonia, we used mainly klisters and yellow glider waxes.
